I would try to sell it through family/friends, or hopefully someone local to you.Maybe advertise at your local pet store,local paper,sometimes local shops like newsagents will place an add in their window for a small fee.It would be easier for you to keep tabs on your bird if kept local. Please do not GIVE your bird away!!! Someone who has to pay the correct rate for a pet,usually takes better care of them. Free pets are too often sold on to goodness knows who, just for the cash.Please take the time/care to ensure your bird goes to the best home you can.Good luck in your new flat/job...
