Question about Pets:advice on eggs we have babies?

Hi, congrats on the babies. :)

Yes, she needs to sit on them still because they are not old enough to produce enough of their own body heat, she still needs to keep them warm for a while.

I don't reccomend removing any contents from or cleaning the nest box, while some birds tolerate it, some will abandon the babies if they see a single thing out of place (incase a predator is in the nest). Handling the babies when they are a little older however is fine, the mother won't abandon them if you handle them.

Try providing dry egg and biscuit mix supplied from the pet store or supermarket (I provide this and mix a small amount of hand rearing mix in with it), put it in a container by iteself or mix it with the seed. Try grating vegetables and fruit, sometimes they will take to it if it's grated. Provide dandelion leaves (which are actually very good for them) and grass, a lot of cockatiels, even picky ones, seem to love those.

Think now about what you can do about the babies. Is it at all possible to keep any yourself? Remember that you allowed them to breed, so the babies are your full responsibility.
When they are older you can try advertising them in the newspaper as parent reared cockatiels, or find people that want a cockatiel.
I don't reccomend dumping them at a pet store, firstly there are a lot of bad pet stores that are ignorant and don't care for the birds properly, then you don't know who is going to buy your babies, it could be someone who doesn't treat them right or someone buying it for snake food.
So plan now what you are going to do with them.

Good luck with it all. :)
I've bred birds and also own cockatiels :3
