| Question about Pets:How can I find out if a duck is native or introducted and if its feral or wild? |
First off, geese and swans are Not ducks.
Second of all, a quick google will show that the peking, cayuga, and rouen are domestic breeds that are derived from the mallard. Thus, if there are any peking, cayuga, or rouen running around outside of a farm, they are feral.
Mallard, depends on where you are as to wether it's native or introduced. And, since mallards are frequently farmed, if it's escaped a farm it's feral, if it was never on a farm it's wild.
