Birds that have a bleeding trauma the feces would be black. If it is fresh bleed then it could have an injury. I have been breeding bird for 25 years and I have never seen any of them ever bleed from the rectum.
So it could be sick, if it is I would not recommend that you handle it since many wild birds carry diseases that can be transmitted to people.
