| Question about Pets:Whats a good playstand for a Macaw? |
I have one of the tabletop (portable) manzanita stands and it's held up really well to abuse from a pair of macaws, greys, and several conures. I don't have any experience with the Java so I can't help you there. One addition I did make was a knotted rope (heavy) that hangs to the floor. They have a lot of fun climbing on that and hanging upside down as well as the branches on the stand.
You can also get more bang for your buck if you attend a bird fair or pet expo versus buying online or at a local pet store.
