If you are still handfeeding they are too young. On the other hand you can not keep food in thier feathers it will cause bacteria and you'll loose your birds. Keep some warm water with some apple cider vinegar in it and wipe their faces after each feeding, but then be sure to put them back in the brooder where it's warm. I am curious to know your handfeeding technique, because their faces are all that may get food on it. And that shouldn't be that much. Any more questions please email me at bettyinphoenix@gmail.com
