Question about Pets:My cockatiel molly is pulling her pinfearthers out and down her legs and it is NOT BUGS i need to help her ?

Feather plucking is not an unusual bird behavior. It can be related to stress or diet, but it can also be just a bad habit like chewing your nails. My African Grey keeps his legs pretty well plucked all the time and sometimes plucks his neck and looks so pathetic. For him the vet said it was just a bad habit and recommended keeping a variety of toys that he could preen and pluck in the cage but he still does it periodically.

Does your c0ck keep you up at night? (previous)
I need help with my parakeets ? (next)
