| Question about Pets:I Found Baby Bird-HELP |
Don't listen to either of those first two. Do NOT attempt to feed it (because you could make it very sick or kill it - they can't digest most things) and if you put it back in its nest, yes, its parents will still take care of it even if it has "human scent" on it. The babies don't get fed until daylight anyway, so just wake up early and put it into the nest. If you aren't sure it's the right nest, though, take it to a wildlife preserve or sanctuary in the morning. (Make sure to call first and tell them what's going on).
Until then, make sure it stays warm and dry (try putting a heating pad on one of t he sides of the box so that it can snuggle up to it if it gets too cool or go to the other side of the box if it gets too warm).
What does it mean when an outdoor bird, poops out chunky blood? (i know it is a gross question)? (previous)
