| Question about Pets:Parakeet wont drink at all.? |
A dirty dish with feces in it could just mean he's pooping in another part of the cage, not in the water bowl.
You rarely ever see budgies drink water. They're desert dwellers & don't drink much at the best of times.
If he's doing everything else normally, eating fine, nothing else noticably changed, then I'd say he's just not crapping in the bowl so it is looking cleaner & he is fine.
Usually seeing a budgie drink an unuasually large amount of water is often a cause for consern, not drinking less.
