Question about Pets:Jenday conure wont be quiet.?

First of all, invest in ear plugs while training her to be quiet. Whenever she screams, don't cover her cage, but give her no eye contact, turn off the lights, leave the room and shut the door (if you have one) and don't come back until she's been quiet for 10 straight minutes (no less). When she's been quiet, come back in the room and give her tons of attention and praise. Repeat until she stops screaming. Also, give her plenty of toys to keep her interested because they get bored easily. Bring her to the store and let her pick out her own toys. It's fun for you and is great bonding time with the bird. When you say that she's "mean", does that mean that she's biting? If she's biting, just don't react when she bites. If that gets you nowhere, gently pinch her beak and look straight in her eyes and SAY (not yell) "no". Don't break eye contact, wait until she does. This will teach her that you're still boss and she is not allowed to do that action. Good luck and email me if you need any more tips, I'm always happy to help.
