| Question about Pets:Why isnt my bird drinking? |
Your bird is most likely drinking, you just havent caught him doing it. I've had my cockatiel for almost 2 months now. I've seen him drink one time, in that 2 months. Obviously he's drank more than that one time or he'd be dead by now.. He just doesnt do it often enough for me to catch him. Your bird will drink when he's thirsty.
If you're POSITIVE he isn't drinking, did you maybe put vitamins in the water? if thats the case, change his water, and give him clean fresh water with no vitamins. Those sometimes change the taste of the water and a bird will do everything they can to avoid drinking it.
