Question about Pets:Can someone tell me why the parents of the baby cockatiels wont care for it after its hatched?

If this is the first time or two they will learn. But some like to mate but not care for them. You need to handfeed them the next time if they are older birds. Also if there isn't enough food they stop feeding or if there is something wrong with the babies that only they know off.
