| Question about Pets:Best type of hamster to get? |
The hamster that get along best with each other of the same species, are definiatly dwarf hamsters.
Syrian hamsters should be separated once they reach the age of about 6-8 weeks.
Make sure that you get the dwarf hamsters from the same cage however so that they have learned to trust each other's scent.
The cage for two hamsters must be slightly larger than a cage that you would keep for only one.
As long as dwarf hamsters are properly hand-tamed and have attention daily, they will also become loveable and very fun to watch.
You do, however, have to understand that dwarf hamsters like to be left alone more than Syrian hamsters, so if a dwarf seems to have had enough, then make sure you let it back in its cage.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask!
Good Luck! :)
