| Question about Pets:Why is my 4 month old guinea pig (boy) trying to hump my 7 week old guinea pig(boy)- will he calm down? |
Whoever told you that two unrelated male guines pigs could live together is not telling the truth. Male guinea pigs that have been kept together from birth without females may live together but it cannot happen with two unrelated males, the older pig is allready trying to show dominance of the younger one and this will lead to attacking it and biting very soon.
They need to be seperated as soon as possible before any wounds occur.
Two females should live happily together and pairs male and female will live together but will breed every ten weeks.
Please listen to this
SEPERATE THESE TWO MALES BEFORE ONE ATTACKS THE OTHER.
