Question about Pets:What age is a lovebird weaned?

It is weaned when it is fully eating on its own for at least a week. Usually around 8-10 weeks to reliably be able to go to a new home and not want to revert to being handfed. 6 weeks is pretty young for a lovebird to be fully and reliably weaned. I would wait till at least 8 to make sure you don't have any food issues when you bring it home.
