| Question about Pets:WHat adaptations do parakeets have to have to help it survive in the climate that it lives in? |
Let's see....
-Birds convert most of their consumed food into heat to keep them warm
-Their feathers have a slight waterproof coating
-They can turn their heads 180 degrees to watch out for predators
-Their beaks can reach into tight spaces for food
-They can fly, obviously, as a way to travel long distances and escape from harm
