| Question about Pets:What kind of bird is this? (pic) its mom threw it out of the nest 2 times.? |
I saved one just like that 2 months ago, mine looked extremely similar and it was a sparrow. It fell from it's nest two stories high. I took it in put it under a high voltage lamp, made a little nest made up of towels, napkins, etc. KEEP THE BIRD WARM, warmth is the key part to it surviving. It should be around 98 degrees in there. I called a vet and they gave me the phone number to a man who takes care of these animals among others. The bird is helathy as a horse right now and is thriving along with a chance it will be released. If it is a sparrow, feed it extremely small portions of worms, but if you dn't do it right, it could choke. Good luck with the bird :).
P.S. Mine had to be 2-3 days old since it's eyes weren't even open yet. Chances are it isn't sick, so please save it!!!
