| Question about Pets:How does the bird-eating spider live up to its name? |
The Goliath BirdEater Tarantula( Theraphosa blondi) got that name because it was once witnessed eating a bird, it does not typically eat birds. It is a burrowing spider, feeds mostly on invertebrates. So none of your choices are actually the right ones.i'll explaining each of them.
Attacks Hummingbirds? I didn't really know Hummingbirds lived in the amazon, not too mention they would never walk by a T.Blondi's burrow.
Covers Birds Nests? They don't climb trees looking for nests, it burrows into the ground.
It lies in wait for baby birds?if a baby bird fell out of it's nest, near it's burrow sure it would eat it, but it does not plan or lay in wait under nests waiting for a baby to fall out.
It Jumps out of trees? Doesn't Climb Trees, it burrows.
