Question about Pets:How can I tell if a budgie is young and not old?

Young birds will have stripes on their forehead, a purple-ish or white-ish cere, and pure black eyes. Once the budgie is sexually mature, it will have a solid colored forehead, a blue cere if it's a male and a tan one if female, silver irises in its eyes, and it will get more colored spots on the cheek feathers.
