Birds fluff feathers a lot of reasons; to dry; to circulate air in their feathers and to their skin; theiy fluff to expel parasites; like mites.

They also fluff as a way to show affection or to camaflouge themsleves.

Fluffling is a 100% natural trait of all Birds.
