Question about Pets:Hand feed baby sacred doves?

It really isn't a good idea for a novice to take on handfeeding ANY baby bird- the death rate is so high. Doves require a very specialized formula. There are so many things that can result in death- aspiration, mouth and crop burns from formula that is too hot, infection from the burns, aspiration, and from spoiled formula, and a perforated throat. If you really want a handfed baby bird, please search for one that is young but already weaned by an experienced birder.
