| Question about Pets:What can i feed my humming bird? |
Adult wild birds will not eat in captivity, especially ones with specific dietary requirements like a hummingbird. You will kill this bird if you keep it. It should be released immediately! Hummingbirds eat very frequently, need a LOT of space (they cannot get the exercise they need in a cage), and eat only nectar. It is also illegal to catch and cage them. Also remember that if people catch and cage them, there will be none left to breed in the wild, so the species will die out. Think how sad that would be. You don't want this bird's death on your conscience. Set it free so it can live and be happy.
