The best information you're going to find for all of those is going to be done by good ol research. Thankfully on the internet you can find all those.
Parakeets are a parrot, so all the care and what not that goes into having a parrot, even the huge ones like macaws apply.
Taming is something that you need patience for. You're better off getting one and one advice from a real person like on a forum then just reading about it, because every bird can be different the way the respond to techniques. Usually a hand-fed parakeet/parrot is the best kind to have.
