Question about Pets:How do chickens make eggs?


They grow inside them much like your ova, it is a finite supply
they move along through the hen getting larger and are eventually laid with the shells hardening after laying.
If a roster breeds the hen the eggs can be fertile otherwise
they are not and just come out, kind of like a readilly available
food source that doesn't endanger the chicken.Selective breeding has led to more prolific hens.
In one sense a hen laying an egg is kind of like a womans period, she's making way for the next egg in the que
