| Question about Pets:Theres a cockateal loose in my house, and its not mine? |
Dim the lights in the house, grab a large towel, and toss it over the bird as carefully and quickly as possible. Birds do not see well at night, so it will be easier to catch it. (If in fact it is nightime where you're at.)
Keep the doors closed so it does not escape if you in fact want to rescue it.
You can also get a spray bottle and fill it with cool water, and gently spray the bird with a mist. It will make it harder for it to fly when their wings are wet.
Good luck!
