| Question about Pets:My budgie is crouched right over on the perch what could be wrong? |
Has it only just started doing this or is this your pet's usual posture?
If this is a new pose, it could be ill. Are the feathers also fluffed up? Sometimes birds hunch up if they are unwell. Another sign of illness is if it is quieter and less active than it usually is. I would take it to the vet while still in the cage so that the vet can see what it is doing (and it is less stressful than putting it in a box).
