| Question about Pets:I am looking for directions for building an nesting box for budgie birds? |
Nesting boxes are pretty simple in design. They have four sides, in a slightly rectangular form. The front should have a hole large enough for the birds to come and go, and a perch just below the hole that has space on either side for the parents to sit. The back should slide off for access to check the babies, and to clean the box out periodically. I have a complete set of directions with diagrams, if you would like me to scan them for you. Just e-mail me and let me know what you need again and I will send them to you.
If you would like your own book that covers this project and more things you might need in the future, Amazon has one book that covers it all. Just go to http://tinyurl.com/3am7s8 and order this book. It shows you how to not only build the nesting box, but cages, aviaries, and more. It is about $40, but well worth adding to your library. It is the upgraded edition to what I have.
