If the meds you are giving the bird have a steriod in them, this is normal. It also depends on the food you are feeding. If you are feeding some form of the fruit pellets, this is a sign of diabetes. Some of the fruit pellets are very high in sugar.
This is also a sign of less Kidney function. Either way, you should be talking to the vet who prescribed the med you are now using on your bird.
Sounds to me like something is not right with the bird and it's showing signs of something else! If in fact you were prescribed this med by a vet, and not self medicating this bird.
