| Question about Pets:How do I move my canaries to my new home? |
I do bird rescue, and when transporting a new bird (depending on it's size and the number of birds) I often use a small pet taxi (the hard plastic kind) for transporting. They are secure, they are enclosed and somewhat dark, which helps to reduce stress, also allows for temperature control, you don't want your birds to freeze while you're blasting the AC, if you have two or three of the canaries or more, I would use the "Cat" size (small) pet taxi to transport them. You could also purchase a few of the transport cages from petsmart or petco, just depends on how many you have and how you want to transport them.
