for a tiel a small size hard sided pet carrier would be just fine. Make sure you install a perch close to the ground, and line with a soft towel. Make sure there is food available and offer water at all rest stops.
Dont let the water stay in the cup it will slosh everywhere and make a mess, offer items like oranges, grapes and apples. So your tiel can help themselves to a treat and doesnt dehydrate.
Make sure you take water with you for all the beasties, there is nothing worse than moving and having upset tummies thrown into the mix!!!! We moved 2 keets, 4 dogs, 4 ferrets and 2 cats 1800 miles from PA to TX!
