| Question about Pets:My cockatiel is acting strange.? |
You are her flock mate, and she needs to learn to be independent. Don't go to her when she screams. Take a toy out of the cage when you are with her and encourage her to touch it, chew it, wrestle it, etc. Praise her when she plays with ti and only have her out as mcuh as you can continue to have her out. If in the future you cna only have her out an hour then right now have her out for an hour. Provide her with many foraging toys as well as toys she can destroy.
