Question about Pets:Would it be advisable to hand raise any of these bird species?

yes these kind of birds that are often raised and bred on farms are not too difficult to raise as from birth they have open eyes and a soft down to keep them warmer, so they dont have to be raised from little pink things with no eyes..they already have a tendancy to peck at things so arent difficult to teach to eat,,, i have hand raised quails chickens and some ducks.. they are all great, ducklings, geese, and swans all imprint on a person and se it as "mummy" and will follow you anywhere..chickens and quails will follow to a certain extent but explore around without their "mummy" and will not actually chase after you the way a duckling will.. it is very cute..i didnt even know you could get pet ostriches...i want one now lol.. good luck raising your cute little pets.. (and big if you get an ostrich)
