| Question about Pets:Why does my Budgie hump my finger? |
It's natural for male budgies to mate with your hand (if you let it) or any other toy or object he decides he likes alot. They have urges like humans and need to get rid of them from time to time. My males used to do it. One had a Bigbird bobbing toy and he treated it like his girlfriend, it kept him happy. Sometimes it would get on my nerves so then I would remove it until further notice, and of course they are worse in breeding season. As for why? well you were just curious about it, now that you know either get him a mate or toy, cause he will find something on his own.
