| Question about Pets:Finchs eggs? |
I've had the zebras inside the house in cages, large and small, and also had them in an outside aviary. They did well with breeding and their eggs without much help from me at all. I did provide alfalfa for them so they could pad their nests, but didn't do much else for the process. They were fed spray millet, store-bought soft-bill bird food, boiled eggs, left-over veggies, etc. and they pretty much took care of themselves, their nests, and fed and weaned their babies themselves. If the air temperature is comfortable for you, it's most likely comfortable for the birds, so no light is needed as they will take turns sitting on the eggs and keep the egg temperature correct that way.
