| Question about Pets:Whats some simple games I could create for my cockatiel? |
Mine loves jigsaw puzzles!
She gets in the box and plays with all the loose pieces. She doesn't chew them, though. She just tosses them around.
She also has several wicker baskets that she loves to escalate and chew them on.
Another favorite is trying to reach for the fresh flowers my mother keeps on the table.
She has an abbacus where she perches and plays.
Old books (the ones that no one will ever use because they are obsolete) are a must for her as well. She loves chewing and tearing them apart.
Chopsticks are part of her toy collection, too.
As for the bath, our adorable tiel will take bathe in a shallow plate in the kitchen table when we are all around finishing lunch. I guess, she loves being the center of attention.
It all started when we had her water dish on the table and she began scooping some and rubbing her sides. So we provided her with a bigger plate with lukewarm water.
And we all kept ooohing and cooing. She loved it!
Have you tried spraying yours very gently?
As for my cousins' tiels, they love getting in the kitchen sink when the dishes are being done.
I guess, you'll have to try and experiment with different techniques and find whatever works for your little friend.
